John and Lindsay tied the knot!

It’s always all the little moments that matter. Some times I love that I get to watch and photograph every one of them. I loved how Lindsay walked into the reception area at the Sanctuary and looked at the room as if her dreams just came to life. She walked around the room touching the napkins, admiring the centerpieces and stood in awe of how it all came together. I watched how she looked at John for the first time on her wedding day. I noticed how John would bring Lindsay’s beautiful smile to life by letting out his infectious laugh.

Sometimes I forget how ridiculous I can look when I am going for “the shot” that I really want. John and Lindsay were standing in front of the waterfall at The Sanctuary when all of a sudden they looked over at me. They both burst into laughter. It was then that I realized I had wedged myself behind a bush and half way into a tree because I saw a perfect shot. We all got a pretty good laugh out of it.

I photographed a wedding at the Sanctuary the night before John and Lindsay’s wedding there. I was in awe of how stunning each wedding was and yet how different each one was. John and Lindsay are both in theater and went for a whimsical, natural and organic theme. I really need to post more detail shots because they were out of this world.
